Hi there, I am working on a translation involving vehicle batteries and am stumped on a word that describes the amount of anode and cathode remaining on a battery. I am working from Japanese into English. The word to describe this in Japanese is 充填量, which translates literally as filling amount. From what I can tell, this term is usually used to describe the filling of a solution.
The sentence I am working from is "マイナス極/プラス極の充填量最適化". It is a title of sorts. I have so far translated it as, "Optimizing the fill amount of the negative terminal (-)/positive terminal (+)" I am convinced that there must be another way of expressing 充填量 instead of fill amount.
Any ideas?
