I couId not find any support document or FAQ about how gengo is counting characters for payment purposes. When I count characters for a job, MS Word always counts more characters than gengo's character count based on the monetary payment indicated. For example, if it's ($0.048/char) $30.43, my character count shows about $33-$35 (without spaces) for this job. It looks like gengo does not count numbers, symbols (quotation marks, parenthesis, etc.), periods, and commas in the character count. So we are typing all this for free.

I read the above "Troubleshooting" article, but it doesn't mention numbers. It doesn't seem that numbers are counted.
Probably not. Maybe full-width numbers are counted.
