Si no lo has hecho ya, puedes cambiar tus notificationes para recibirlas cada 5 minutos (según disponibilidad) aquí, y te recomiendo estar atento a tu panel de control y actualizarlo cada minuto.

I have already completed that form. Nevertheless, the senior reviewer have commited serious mistakes which I have shown in my previous comments. For example, it os correct to say "página web" in Spanish. It is correct the expression "proveedores de servicios sanitarios" and it is correct "El(la)", instead of "El/la". These are facts, not opinions and they shouldn't be considered offensive by anyone. All of us commit mistakes, but the important thing is to rectify.

Could you tell me who is going to review that form. Will it be another senior reviewer or the same one? I think a third opinion would me more suitable in case of these kind of disputes.

Thank you for writing in the forums!
Our pre-tests are designed so our translators pay special attention to detail, so I suggest you take a very close look to spelling and punctuation if you're not finding any obvious errors in the options. All the wrong answers contain either spelling errors, obvious mistranslations or omissions.
Please note that all our translators have to pass the same pre-tests, and many have made it. However, if you do find what you believe is a mistake, please make sure to take a screenshot of the question and send it to us.

Thanks, but NO THANKS, I don't plan on waiting 6 months to take a test with a translation that I would do much better myself if it were not a multiple choice question. Check your automated system, because your selective screening process is being done wrong.

Hi guys,
I don't mean to be rude or polemic or...(you choose the word you like), but after reading this I took the EN-SP (Latin American) pre-test out of curiosity and I got 4 right answers out of 5. I am sure I would have failed the test if I had had to translate from scratch and not just pick an answer from the multiple choice. My Spanish is quite rusty right now. I am a native Italian and I hold a language degree (English major, two years of Spanish studies with a Chilean teacher, a little over four months spent in Chile many years ago). I have been translating for over 20 years from EN to IT and I am at Pro level for that combination here at Gengo.
Why all this blah blah blah you ask? I just wanted to tell all the people who try the tests to pay really close attention to the source language as well as the target language, looking for nuances of meaning as well. Sometimes we rely on our knowledge of our native language and rush through tests without thinking too much.
Good luck everybody, languages are fascinating and a daily source of discoveries. Keep trying!

I have recently done the three attempts of Eng-Spanish test, the three of them failed.
On the other hand I performed the English-Italian test and passed with 5/5.
I have written several tickets and emails, and all I get as answer is that it's been forwarded to one of your departments.
It actually makes no sense that I fail the three tests in my NATIVE language, and pass with no problems a test into a language which is not my native language, neither I have an advance level at that.
I sent by email several screen captures of my answers and the screens with the official RAE and other links to support and evidence my answers were actually right. But no satisfactory answer yet....and I am supposed to wait 6 months??
Please give me some answer or solutions.

La razón por la que no hay pruebas de inglés a español en este momento es que están desactivadas. Activamos y desactivamos las pruebas en función al volumen de trabajo y el número de traductores activos ya existentes en Gengo. ¡Así que no te desanimes! El hecho de que ahora mismo estén desactivadas no quiere decir que en un futuro, cuando lo consideremos necesario, no vayamos a activarlas de nuevo. Si quieres recibir una notificación cuando esto ocurra puedes registrarte aquí.
