I have 72 hours before taking it again, but I was wondering why there are just three attempts? I'm totally new to this and am willing to learn, but what if I fail all three times? Am I out of chances? Can I never get a job as a translator here?

After you fail a test, you need to wait 72 hours (3 days) to be able to try again. You can test up to three times during a six-month period. If you fail the test three times, you'll need to wait six months to get another three chances.
I hope you have passed by now but if not, at the very least, six months is more than enough time to brush up on your language skills and try again. It's only a temporary period. Best of luck!
