Also, another question! What language pairs do you all translate in? I see Japanese>Traditional Chinese in one of the comments. Is this the same for everybody else? It would help if you can provide your specific language pairs for us to look at.

I think the most efficient way is to support Alipay as payment method for both clients and translators instead of just using Paypal, which is not widely used in China.

Yes! I am aware of that request. Unfortunately, we are not currently considering Alipay as a payment option (but this may of course change in the future depending on demand.) We are however working on implementing Payoneer. Do you have any insights regarding this payment method in China?
According to an analyst research report, Alipay had the biggest market share in China with 300 million users and control of just under half of China's online payment market in February 2014.

@Lara Withdrawing deposit from paypal is extremely complicated for Chinese users. And we have to pay 1.5% handling charge each time. Therefore, we truely hope with our sincerest heart that Gengo could support Alipay.:-D

@491811422 Besides the handling fees, could you please provide me with more information regarding how it is difficult to withdraw money from Paypal in China? (i.e. are there any limits on how much you can withdraw to your bank account, etc?)

大半年来，英简平时也没看到过项目...

那被動等待案件上門也不是法子~
不如主動出擊，試著多多跟外國朋友推廣GENGO！
讓這裡的案件量衝上來，再各憑本事想辦法搶下囉
今天好不容易接到一单，一个字的，哈哈
多多丰富自己的语言对。pro考试也尽量去考，或许会好一点
我是只有一個語言對（日→繁中），pro考試也早就通過了，但仍舊覺得案件量不夠多....
五一之前，系統每週會寄來的整體案件統計量就只有近200個，
其中絕大多數都是s級別的案件，只有50個左右是pro案件～
而pro案件只是單價比較高，字數少的時候稿費還是不比字數多的的S級別來的優渥
重點是這個語言對的譯者少說也有上千個，只有200個案件可搶的話根本不夠
估計其他語言對也有相同的問題，所以我覺得我們也必須思考怎麼讓這裡的案件量變多
我本身有在其他網站的個人簡介上面介紹自己是GENGO的譯者，
希望可以因此撿到幾個有翻譯需求的客戶來這裡發包～
介紹得越多，登錄過來搶單的譯員也越多，最後還是搶不到。
上面说上千译者的也太夸张了
这个月的英简活跃译者66人，是这个网站排第十的语言对，其他汉语相关语言对都没显示，只是说明人更少，这个链接可以看 http://gengo.com/open-data/capacity.html
最近几个月收到邮件每周数量都是150-250，平均一下每人也就2-3个

不過這裡並非登陸就能接案，你考試考不過還是接不了的

非常感谢Lara的服务，之前听Lara说有人帮忙解释中文，所以我就偷懒用中文写啦哈哈。
我是第一次在paypal试着提现，所以遇到很多问题：
1. 要想从paypal提现至中国大陆银行卡，还需要注册并实名认证第三方平台“连连支付”（一家我认为很小的公司，心里觉得并不可靠）,且注册和实名认证的过程好繁琐，居然和我说要去公安局更新一下身份证，他们才能查到我的身份信息，想哭。
2.每次从paypal提现，都需要35美元的手续费（很大一笔啊）。还有一种说法，是1.5%的手续费。我目前没成功提现，也不知道是多少。
3. 总之，为了提现辛辛苦苦的翻译款，需要付好几笔钱出去，还有辗转好几种支付软件，心里好难过。
不知道大家有没有更好的经验，和更好的办法呢~~
