I was wondering if Pro test in this pair will be open some day again. I have been a part of the community since Juli 2014 and I would love to try to pass the test!
Same for me, I started in the beginning of July, then I tried (and failed, sadly) the Pro test before they blocked it. Apparently it's because there are too many Pro level translators in this pair and not enough work for all, so they stop the tests, and we don't really know when will they be available again. In fact, in this pair, even the Standard test is blocked.

We have started posting on our Facebook page each month to alert translators when testing has been turned on in certain language pairs. Keep an eye on it here: https://www.facebook.com/myGengo?ref=hl
We turn testing on/off depending on the demand from customers in that language pair, and how active the existing translators are. So even we can't predict when it will be turned on again!
Hope the pro tests will open up for you both soon :)
