I just passed the Standard Test a few days ago, so that I am now able to
become an English-to-French Translator for Gengo.
However, before agreeing the Terms&Conditions and starting translating, I
would need some more information about my (legal) status in my country
(France) to make sure I can be a translator for Gengo.
I'll try to explain it in English the best I can. Here are my concerns:
1- What do I need to have in France as "legal status" to work as an
independent for Gengo?
Actually, I am currently looking for a job in France since my last contract
last year, so is it possible to work for Gengo just like that, without
declaring anything, doing any administrative paper or having any particular
2- What about the French taxes system: by working with Gengo, should I
declare something? Where/to whom? How?
