I am sure many of you have already seen me around here in the forums, but I still wanted to drop you a line to say hi!
I will be taking on the functions of moderator starting today - I will be doing my best and I hope I will live up to the high standards set by Natalia with her amazing work! :)
I have introduced myself here in case you'd like to know more about me!
Some basic info: I am located in Oujda (Morocco) GMT+1 and I've been working for Gengo for a little over a year as a Japanese-English translator.
Looking forward to getting to know you all better!

that sounds interesting Lara.I mean your multicultural background: you live in Morocco, you translate Japanese to English. do you also deal with French and Arabic? this, for sure, will help you a lot in your new moderator tasks.

I don't deal with French and Arabic though... My Arabic is practically non-existent and, while I can read and pretty much get the meaning of a French text, I can't speak it :S
I can read Italian as well.
But the languages that I can speak decently are Japanese, English and Spanish (Spain).

As a moderator I am here to help you solve any problems or doubts that you may have (as long as it is within my knowledge) or direct you to support or the relevant team if the issue is out of my hands ;) I am also here to monitor the discussions in all translator forums.
And "stellar" is another way to say "awesome" or "excellent" ;)

Jobs have been coming in as usually for the JA>EN pair for the past few days, both at Standard and Pro level :)
Have you checked your settings for e-mail job notifications? I suggest you do this, and also subscribe to our RSS to receive information when new jobs become available.
Also, please note that different timeframes see different amounts of jobs coming in - so if you have the chance, trying to log in and check your dashboard at a different time than the usual is also a good idea!
I was on for 3 hours yesterday from 1pm to 4pm GMT+1 (9pm to 12pm JST) and saw more than 10 jobs come and go! :)
