Eu fiz o Standard Test de Inglês -> Português há alguns meses e não passei, então decidi tentar novamente hoje mas não o encontro. Eles retiraram esse par?
Thanks for writing in the forums :) (I hope you don't mind me responding in English)
The English>Portuguese pair is still active, however, we have disabled testing temporarily due to overcrowding. If you would like to sign up for the waiting list and be notified as soon as tests become active, please click on the link below the drop-down menus on the Tests page (http://gengo.com/translator-team/tests/).
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi there! I believe one of my colleagues has already answered your question about how to sign up for the waiting list (same as my previous answer here).
If you have any other questions please let me know :)

I can't find the topic about how to sign up for the waiting list, could you put it here? Thanks.
É uma pena! Dentre os sites para tradutores freelancers que encontrei, Gengo aparenta ser a empresa mais séria. Gostaria de participar com traduções: Inglês - Português.
Aguardarei ansiosamente pelo teste.

I can't wait to have this test. Gengo looks a trustful company. I'd be pleased to work for them.

Hello all, I'm really new in this forum, and I'm actually waiting for the Portuguese-English pair to open up, (or even French-Portuguese or French-English). My question is: why isn't it possible to see the news without having taken the test. And is there any way to get the news as soon as my pairs open? i already filled the survey. if anyone can help me... Thank you

Thanks so much for your interest in working with Gengo! Unfortunately we're not accepting test submissions in any of our Portuguese language pairs at the moment... We're growing all the time though and may reopen some or all of these pairs in the future so please keep checking in! Hopefully we'll get a chance to work with you soon :)

Hi everybody. I've recently signed in by reccomendation of some websites in Brazil, and discovered that the portuguese/english and spanish/english pair weren't available. I found this thread explaining the issue, but since this situation has been going on for over a year, I would like to ask if there's some change in the situation coming in the next few months.

Hi celso.mattheus!
Thanks for your interested in working with Gengo! :) As explained in the link provided above, we turn tests on and off based on the volume of jobs and number of active translators for each language pair, so it is very difficult to predict when we will open the tests again, as the situation can change anytime. I apologize for being unable to provide you with a more specific answer but I encourage you to sign up to receive a notification once the tests are active again (this is also in the link provided above!)
Good luck, and hope to see you joining the team soon!
