Those of you who were following our forum in August may remember that we ran a popular post called ‘Show us your world’ where many of our contributors shared photos of the view from their window. This time, we’d like to brighten up what has been quite an unpredictable year for many of us by asking you to share something about your holiday set-up, if you’re celebrating a holiday in December 2020. At this time of the year, many cultures celebrate religious or national holidays, and many people do something special to mark the new calendar year. If this is the case for you, please feel free to let us know what you're celebrating in December, and to describe or send us a photo of any decorations, traditional dishes or other special things that you might have prepared.
Even if you’re not celebrating anything special in the coming weeks, you might be looking forward to taking a well-deserved rest at the end of the year, or using this time to reflect on 2021 (in which case you might also like to take a look at our ‘Looking back on 2020’ post, where we’ve been talking about our plans for the new year ahead). Since we’re all based in such different parts of the world, you could even send a picture of the weather where you live, since it isn’t necessarily winter in every country in the world right now. We’d love to see what the climate is like in your location!
No matter where you are in the world or what you’ll be doing, we'd love to know more. Tell us what you’ll be up to this December 2020 (or January 2021), and please do feel free to share photos as well – an image is always worth more than a thousand words!
We’re looking forward to ‘checking in’ with you again!
