In addition to all the problems that the platform seems to be suffering lately (and that nobody seems to be willing to even try to solve), there's also the fact that the Feed does not display most of the assignments (although there are very few of them... whether for suspicious reasons or not). The assignments appear on the dashboard but very rarely in the feed. Is it possible that someone has actually hacked the feed and is taking over our assignments and that the few ones that do appear are because they have somehow escaped their clutches?
Anyway, this is starting to become untenable and it wouldn't hurt if Gengo bothered to try to explain why this is happening, apart from the usual "the technical team is looking into it", which we all know is a synonym for "don't hold your breath".

As I've been commenting before, yes, it's very suspect. Getting a job has been a pain. I'm mostly getting very short jobs or those rejected by other people in my pair (EN>PT-BR).

Sometimes I wonder if the hackers are not some relatives/friends to some LionBridge employees...it would explain why nothing has been done to fix the problems till now. Gengo (before its acquisition) was doing much better.

Hi @Mae! Thanks for sharing your concern about the RSS feed.

I've shared some information on this thread and will share it again here.

I clarified this with one of the dev/tech team. A job you see in the dashboard may not appear in your feed. As long as it was ordered and picked up during the interval (60 seconds), it will not show in your feed. If ever you encounter a job, and it's still not picked up by anyone by the time you receive the new feed notification, please report it to the support team so they can notify the dev/tech team of this issue.

I know it is tiring to see the same comments from me, but that's all I can share for now for these issues, as the dev team is really still investigating and working on it. As much as we want to resolve these issues as soon as possible, the dev/tech team is the only one that can address and fix them. We assure you, Maria, and I asked for updates about it.

Also, we encourage everyone to communicate, especially to support in English, so they can better address the issue. We understand you are more comfortable using your native language, but communicating in a language both parties know will make the process easy and avoid misunderstandings.

Also @Mae - I saw the ticket you submitted to the support team. There's a bit of misunderstanding due to the language barrier, but I will check on it and impose consequences if necessary. Thanks again for flagging that to the support.

Thanks to you, @Rica. It's just that this situation seems to be getting worse and worse and the lack of information is starting to make us all desperate, I think.

The RSS feed has been a joke for months. Whenever I check my RSS reader, I get "too many requests error". Mine is set at 61 secs. What else can I do?

    Hi Jose.
You might need to ask the tech support of your RSS feed reader. Our guideline for this is one (1) request per 60-second interval. You will get this kind of error if the reader you are using requests it more than once.

If you got confirmation from them that it is only requesting once every time, you can message the support team and relay this to them. They will check on this with the engineering team. Thank you!

My RSS feed app is working fine. I believe Gengo has been declining in the last few years or somehow I have been declined to receive jobs.
