Since last Friday (10/5) everytime I tried to access the job page they seem to load forever, resulting in a blank page. I tried clearing the browser cache but no luck. This doesn't seem to be the issue of my connection either since I have no trouble accessing any other website.

Yes, exactly the same problem here.

I noticed on Friday that the job page loaded slower than usual, and sometimes the browser timed out, but not always. I just checked it now and it works fine, as fast as usual. I am using Google Chrome.

    Hi all,

I've checked with the team and it seems like there haven't been any issues on our end this weekend.

@Ryan @Flash-Ost: are you still experiencing the issues mentioned?

I hope everything is working fine now, but if you're still experiencing technical issues, please write directly to support@gengo.com so we can look into it.

    Thanks,

    Lara

    Hi Lara,

I am not sure about the jobs, as I didn't have any notifications today yet (the problem was definitely there yesterday, though). But today's logging in took 5 or 6 attempts - with page either timing out or freezing on load after I entered my credentials and pressed the login button. I will wait for some jobs to pop up and then contact the support if the problem persists.

@Lara Just yesterday (10/08) noon I had my modem replaced by my provider, and things are working out again - for a while. I was able to access the jobs page again. But per this morning it got worse again. Job pages won't load unless I refreshed it numerous times, otherwise it just loading endlessly, often resulting in a blank page. So I assume this is not my connection's issue (I can access any other website with no problem).

One thing I noticed is, everything's working when I use VPN. It's as if the system is 'rejecting' access from some of the ip addresses and mine is one of the affected.

@Flash-Ost - you can check by accessing your reviewable/completed job pages. If you're able to access them consistently then you're fine I guess.

@Ryan Well, I can now confirm that the problem is not solved. I still experience the very same symptoms you described. Besides, in approximately 1/3 of cases I get HTTP Error 504 or Error 503 when I try to load any page on Gengo (dashboard, completed collection etc.). I also have problems completing the jobs I manage to accept: yesterday I had several jobs worth less than a dollar, and I experienced constant errors with site's inability to save changes. So it took much more time to finally submit the final version. Other sites work perfectly fine.

Just a reminder, everyone -- while it's great to have you guys check in with each other here on the Forums, to see if other fellow translators are having the same experience, the best way to contact us about technical issues, so that we can investigate, is to email support@gengo.com.

You can of course continue discussing here and checking in with each other but, if you haven't yet, I would like to encourage you to drop our Support team an email after you post here describing the issue, and providing as many details as possible (including screenshots whenever it applies) so that we can actually investigate.

    Thanks,

    Lara

I have submitted a request right after leaving my last comment here. =) They said that there are other translators experiencing the same issue and the DEV team is currently looking into the problem.

@Lara - I opened support ticket on Sunday, here's hoping for  the technical team to resolve this issue ASAP.

@Flash-Ost - sounds like we have the exact same problem; I also got Error 504 from time to time when trying to reload the page.

I've been having the same issues for the past 2-3 weeks as well. Some times it works a bit better, but then goes back to the glitchy mess.

I contacted support and they advised me to try a VPN. I don't know if I can actually do this, but I will stand by and wait for more comments and see if the problem does get resolved.

It seems odd that this was not an issue a few weeks ago and suddenly now it is. Could it be a problem affecting specific areas in the world?
