I have been facing this issue since October and reached support many times asking for assistance. The last time I did, I was told to keep waiting indefinitely until the problem is solved, but at this point, it feels like it will not happen any time soon...

Are other translators still having problems, or am I the only one?

    I have tried different readers. I used Feed Notifier for years, but it does not work anymore. I also tried Slack, which did not work, and now I am using QuiteRSS. I get job notifications once in a blue moon. The last time I got one was on April 1st, but I receive emails daily regarding new available collections, so I know the problem is related to my feed and not to a lack of jobs.

    For me, Feed Notifier still works. Last year it stopped working, but simply reinstalling it fixed the issue. Couldn't find anything that suited me better, even if it fails sometimes (but I believe it has to do with the refresh rate, right?).

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times, but I am still getting the message "The URL entered does not appear to be a valid RSS/Atom feed" every time I try to add my feed URL. I am glad it works for you, though. That means my problem is fixable... hopefully.

    Well, Feeder.co technically works, but it doesn't really matter. Because of the (not so) instant email notifications, the overwhelming majority of jobs are grabbed way too quickly to even make it to Feeder. It notifies me of about 10% of the total daily volume. I suspect it would be the same with the other feed readers, even if they worked. Besides, it seems that Gengo considers that their instant email notifications have solved the issue, so don't expect them to fix their RSS Feed anytime soon, if at all.

    You're not the only one, I'm having the same problem, and the same message appears to me: "The URL entered does not appear to be a valid RSS/Atom feed". I also reached support for assistance. So far no resolution.

    Hi SagaGemini, nice to see you again! :) It's the same for me, Feeder.co works, but of course not as it used to, because most jobs are grabbed through instant notifications. I still stick to Feeder and refreshing the dashboard, and occasionally turn the instant emails on and off.

    Hey Yasemin, likewise! :) Totally understand you here, those email notifications are quite the aggravating experience. Fortunately, I have a big project coming up outside of Gengo, so I don't expect to spend nearly as much time on here in the coming months. Hopefully, things will evolve in a positive way here in the meantime, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

    Same here TT. Feed Notifier stop working and I also stop working.

    I still have no idea how to set that email instant notification thing. I need step by step guide. No such thing here.

    Am I supposed to always open the gmail tab or what?

    Looking back at my gmail, I see "Gengo Collections available" email periodically. Like once every 3 days. Which is by far less often than what I used to get from feed notifier. And they happen at 7.30 am so no use anyway.

    To set the instant notification, go to Account Settings > Email Preferences > Change.

    Select "Instant notification" and click "Update".

    I was hoping that someone from support could tell us what to expect regarding this issue.

    It has been so long, and it still has not been solved.

    It has not been solved from my side either. I don't know who to address this problem to anymore.
