I would like to introduce Lara, who will be our working very closely with us in our translator team as Community Manager Support. Some of you may remember Lara from a while ago—she was our interim forum moderator about two years ago and is also a long-term Gengo translator in the JA>EN, JA>ES, EN>ES and ES>EN language pairs.
In her new role, she will be dedicated to moderating and responding to all our forums to ensure our community is heard and the right issues are getting to the right people within the company. This will make sure we are fully aware of our translators' needs and help us to further improve our product. As an experienced Gengo translator herself, Lara’s own background will also be invaluable to us.
She will also be very active on our social media channels where she will be responding to your questions and comments on these platforms and helping to promote Gengo so new customers keep signing up with Gengo! She’ll also be helping out with other community-related initiatives, such as user testing and engagement. She’s fluent in quite a few languages so she’ll be able to get more involved with many more of our translators, too!
