Hello, I signed up for the EN-KR pair since I couldn't do the KR-EN pair. Every time I check the website for jobs for the EN-KR pair, there aren't any of it. I wonder if jobs for it are virtually inexistent. Should I still be waiting for jobs to come up, or just abandon and look for other language pairs?

C'mon gengo
I can't speak for the EN-KR pair, but in my pair (DE-EN (UK)), sometimes a few days will pass before there's anything available. I use the some of the down time to hone my skills by brushing up on my German and English grammar and syntax, translating on other sites, and reading translator forums. The way I understand it, sometimes there will be a rush of activity in a language pair and then it's kind of dead for a while, with the few jobs available mainly going to preferred translators. That's just kind of the way the cookie crumbles with some language pairs. If you haven't done it already, I would recommend that you use RumplestiltskinRSS to try and grab jobs when they are available, because if you just rely on e-mail, jobs may come along that you never get notified of. Oh, and it might not be a bad idea to look into another language pair. If I spoke more languages fluently than just English and German, I'd jump at the chance to translate them. Anyway, I hope you have some success soon finding something in your pair.
Hey thanks for an advice, Sara. Although I know a few other languages, my command of them aren't up to the level where I can translate materials into other languages. So looking for other language pairs would be difficult for me.
