I have been wondering about Gengo's Open Data project as it seems to have been quite a landmark in its history, as it has publicly provided both translators and customers with facts and figures related to translation quality, recent client feedback, capacity, among other very enlightening bits of information.
From what I can recall, there used to be monthly updates to the web page. Even now, I keep receiving monthly emails with news and quick statistical updates, along with a link to the more detailed Open Data portal so I have access to figures from the last month. As an enthusiast of numbers with meaning myself, those are always a treat to check; but the thing is, the page itself doesn't seem to have been updated since December of last year.
Could it possibly be something on my end, or does that happen to other Gengo users as well? If so, are there any plans to keep that project alive?
Hi guifrogarts, thanks for starting this post. I'm glad to hear that you like the Open Data page and find it useful. I passed your question about the updates on to our internal team so that they can look into this, and I'll let you know if I hear anything. Of course, anyone else reading this thread is welcome to share their experiences, too.
Best wishes and have a nice start to the weekend!
