Did Gengo stop sending out Weekly Overviews? I haven't been receiving weekly overviews for more than two months. I sent a couple of emails to support, but the issue still stands. They used to help me with activity time. I don't know if everyone stopped receiving them, or is it just me?
I also stopped receiving them more than two months ago. The last one I received was on November 1. I also stopped receiving the Lionbridge Community Newsletter then. Both mails are sent out from firstname.lastname@example.org, so it seems to be a problem with emails from that address. At the same time, I see people in the Forum commenting on how the numbers of the weekly stats and their actual experience in grabbing jobs do not match, so it seems to be that most people do receive those mailings.
Are you on Hotmail by chance? Because I suspect that it could be a problem with Hotmail blocking mails which are being sent via sendgrid.net (without them going to Spam). Last summer I also did not receive emails from email@example.com on my Hotmail address and then I changed to my Gmail address and that worked. I cannot see in my old emails from firstname.lastname@example.org that they were sent via sendgrid then, but maybe they are now? I can only speculate since Support is not helping me either, so I would be curious to know if you are also on Hotmail.
I did contact Support and also sent a mail to Community.Management@lionbridge.com. Support first replied that my Hotmail address is not in the system anymore, but I did receive emails from email@example.com to my Hotmail address even after I changed my Gengo address on the Dashboard. Apparently that address change does not automatically change the email address to which messages from firstname.lastname@example.org are being sent. This seems to be a separate mailing list, probably imported once and not updated when a user changes their Gengo email address. I asked Support and also Lionbridge Community Management to simply add my Gmail address to this mailing list. I haven't received an answer to those requests, which I though were rather simple, but I will continue trying.
Thank you for sharing your experience as well. To answer your question, I don’t have a Hotmail. I’m using Gmail. I receive other emails from no-reply@gengo, but I’m not receiving the weekly overviews for some reason. I hope it gets sorted out soon, because they used to help out a lot.
Thanks for your reply! It is very helpful to know that it is not a Hotmail problem. Then changing my email address to Gmail will probably not work either. I will update Support about this. As stated before, those weekly overviews do not come from email@example.com, but from firstname.lastname@example.org. You probably do not receive any other emails from that address either (like the monthly Community Newsletter)? Fingers crossed that Support can figure this out!
