On the 26th October, I received a review with 5.64 score. Because I think that the review wasn't done in an objective manner, I sent a re-review request and today (29th) I got an updated score of 6.94. Logically thinking, this should, however small it is, improve my score, or at least maintains it because the 5.64 are being replaced by the updated 6.94, right?

However, what happened is it lowers my overall score by 0.3 points! 0.3 is huge in a place where numerous good reviews barely made a difference to the score, but just one bad review and it will go down guaranteed. Is the scoring system bugged or something? I have suspicion that instead of recognizing that the older score are getting replaced by the newer one, the system thinks that I got a separate review with the score of 6.94; so it believes that I have 2 reviews with lower than 7.00 score.

I've sent an email addressing this problem to the Quality Team, but figured I'd post this to the community as well just in case others have similar problem.

Hi Rica, nice to meet you and thank you for following up with the Quality Team. Today I have received a reply from them, however there are some things that I think still need further explanation so I mentioned this on my reply and am waiting for further communication.

Hi Ryan, nice to e-meet you. :)

For now, the Quality team is the best that can answer your inquiries about this. Sorry, I'm not much of a help.

For everyone, you can read more here about how the translator score is calculated. The translator score is not only about your delivered quality but is also affected by your scores' consistency in the past three years. The article has examples and a great explanation of it. :)

PS. We also have a training material about this posted by our Quality team in the forum.
