On the top right corner of your Translator Dashboard, you can see your display name and current rewards. If you hover the mouse over there, a menu will drop down with the following options (see below).
If you click Settings, you will access your Account settings page, from where you can change some basic account settings such as:
- Email notification preferences
- Payment preferences and currency (only for customers)
- Time zone
- Display name
- Email address
- Close your Gengo account.
When you first create your Gengo account, the timezone is set to UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) by default. All timestamps will be displayed in UTC unless you change it. You can change your timezone to match your location from here.
You can also change your email address from here. It is important that your Gengo address is the same as your PayPal email address.
Resetting your password
If you know your password, you can also change it from here. Click the "change" button beneath Password. Enter your old password, your new password, then click "update."
Forgot your password?
If you've forgotten your password, go to the Gengo homepage and click sign in on the upper right side of the screen.
Once you get to the log in page, click "Forgot your password?," enter your email address, and a password reset link will be emailed to you. Click on the link in the email to reset your password.
